Amberlee is an Advanced BodyTalk Practitioner, who has been in practice since 2010. 

She's currently pursuing a doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine to augment her practice.

Along with the shifts and changes in the natural world, our own inner rhythm attunes with the energy around us, inviting us to focus on certain themes in both our physical and emotional body at particular times of year. 


The Daoist origins of Traditional Chinese Medicine, rooted in centuries of observation of the natural world and the inner landscape, gives us great insight into what these seasonal themes are. 

In winter, we have the special opportunity to work with with ...

Stress and fear:

  • let go of the impact of old trauma

  • recover from past stress and the stress of daily life

The nervous system, kidneys, and adrenals:

  • re-set your stress circuitry on the hormonal and nervous system levels
  • allow your adrenals to relax and rebalance
  • support your knees and lower back

When you go through a traumatic event, or especially stressful time period, your nervous system can get stuck in "fight-or flight" mode, making you more reactive to all future stress, even many years later.

 

Bodytalk allows us to unravel the impact of trauma, so you can release patterns of hypervigilence and stress, settle back into the deeper aspects of yourself, and access more peace, calm, presense, and joy. 


On the physcial level, releasing the impact of stress allows for "rest and healing" mode to take over, which leads to overall reduction of inlammation, improved immunity, and the opportunity to heal on all levels. 


Once your body deeply relaxes, it can work on the healing projects that have been on the back shelf due to being stuck in survival mode.

The Process:

Each month, beginning on the Winter solstice, we'll meet live online for a powerful re-balancing of your body and mind on the themes of stress and relaxation, nervous system balancing, and stillness.


These sessions are based in BodyTalk, a modality that combines aspects of ancient healing techniques (like Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda) with insights from modern science (such as neuroscience and epigenetics) to help your body heal itself. 

In each session, I'll lead you through tapping, visualization and breathing exercises that help you release the impact of old experiences, settle into parasympathetic/ "rest and healing" mode, and access your own inner sense of calm.  

 

While we'll focus on specific winter themes, the sessions are based on our collective needs in the moment.  


We harness the connection between the body and mind to create overall balance so you can experience a greater sense of ease, comfort and flow. 

 

If you've ever been part of a group meditation, you know how powerful collective work can be. These group sessions take on a depth and dimension of their own. I'm always amazed at what we do in our time together.  


In addition to these live sessions, each month I send you intention setting exercises to help remind you to regularly tune in with yourself, get clear on how you're doing, and set goals for your health and wellbeing.  

These will have affirmations for the month, along with themes to reflect on, so you can align your awareness with the changes you want to create during this 3-month experience.

Themes for our 3 months of live sessions

Each month we set intentions and build resources and momentum around a certain focus. This focus emerges from what we most need collectively, and will be based on Winter themes.


These sessions are live on the following dates, and will be recorded so you can return to them at any time.  


While these are the general themes each month, the actual content of the sessions is based on our collective needs in the moment. We will co-create what the healing looks like, based on the needs and intentions of our Circle members. 


Solstice Session-December 21st: Intentions for New Beginnings.  

This session will help you let go of patterns and habits that don't benefit you. We'll harness the energy of the solstice, which is both the darkest day of the year, and the point at which the sun begins to return.  

In this moment of transition, you have the opportunity to release that which no longer serves you, and along with the growing light, begin to grow and expand what you're ready to cultivate in your life.  

Some themes we'll work with...  

  • Release the past and choose what you want to call in. Where have you been playing small? What are you ready to be done with for good? 
  • Create potent intentions for the new year, and harness the support of the session to supercharge your focus.
  • Deeply settle your nervous system and release fight or flight pathways so you can feel calm, still and at ease in your body.

Full Moon Session-January 21st: Deep Reset  

After the rebalancing and re-orienting of our solstice session, we'll dive deep into letting go of the impact of past stressors on your body and mind, and release the imprint of difficult experiences and time periods from the cellular level.  

This session will help you completely re-set your stress response so your body can deeply relax and you can better handle day-to-day stress with clarity and grace.  

Some themes we'll work with..  

  • Align with your highest vision for yourself in all aspects of your life; health, family, work, how you feel moment to moment. 
  • Balance your immune system through calming your nervous system and adrenals, so you can stay healthy throughout the season.
  • Access a deeper sense of stillness, peace and connection with your heart.

Full Moon Session-February 19th: Integration  

Building on the momentum of the previous 2 months, your body will be ready for profound change. BodyTalk sessions have cumulative effects, so this will be an opportunity to go deep.  

We'll use this time to integrate the work we've done and set a new foundation for lasting balance for your body, mind, and spirit.  

You’ll transform your health down to the cells, and access a new level of deep relaxation, comfort in your body, and connection with yourself.

  • Grounding: root into your body and connect with the energy of the Earth
  • Clarity: develop your intuition and access the deep wisdom of your heart with more ease
  • Stability and confidence: balance your physical body, especially your knees and spine, so you feel supported, strong, and safe.

How long are the live healings events?

Each live session will be about an hour long. 


What if I can’t make it live on those dates?

No problem! The sessions are recorded and sent out within 24 hours. You're still 100% included, and you have lifetime access to the session recordings.  

Many members rely on the recordings due to living in different time zones, or being at work during our scheduled time. This is a great way to participate. 


What are the daily practices?

I'm in the Southern hemisphere, so it's not Winter. Does that mean I shouldn't join?  

Even if it isn't winter where you are, this is still a good time for you to focus on these themes.  

As the seasons and our bodies ebb and flow, there is both a peak and a valley for each aspect of our physiology. 

While winter is the "peak" season to work on kidneys and fear etc, the summer is the equal but opposite time, the "valley."  

This way, you nourish the root of the aspects of the body that are in their peak during the summer by supporting your Kidneys and adrenals. 

The water of winter (kidney bladder) supports the fire (heart and small intestine) of summer.

It's a wonderful way to do foundational work for your body.
